Are you a bit UNABLE TO LET THINGS ALONE, by yours truly, can one 64 GB USB stick suddenly contain only one partition of 128 MB and the rest of the storage area is inaccessible. But it can be solved.

It was when I would try to make my USB flash drive from Kingston bootable, that is to say that I wanted to start the computer from the USB stick, which I drove one just for old tools from HP and destroyed the memory partitions.

My first attempt was to use Disk Management from Computer Management inControl Panel -> Administrative Tools.  I found the USB stick with a small system partition and then just over 63 GB of space marked as Unallocated.  This surface was I did not eat and could not partition. Then I tried Partition Magic , but through this, otherwise very useful software, you could not handle USB keys.

After an hour of Googling, I found the tool Hard Disk Low Level Format Tool, which in addition to hard drives support both USB sticks and memory cards. Low-level formatting means that the "ignore" on all partitions and rather than clearing the entire space on the device. It resets in other words, everything, so be very careful how you use it.
